My name is Chris Fox and I am an avid fitness enthusiast and aspiring bodybuilder with a wealth of knowledge to share with you.
I am also a keen DIY enthusiast and love taking things apart to see how they operate. Then promptly put it in the bin as it becomes painfully obvious I have no idea how to put it back together again. Got to love Amazon for quick replacements…
Out Of Necessity Came Passion
I wasn’t blessed with height at all. A staggering 5ft 10 is the best I’m going to get and given the fact that most of my high school peers dwarfed me at over 6ft. I really only had one option and that was to go wide. Not tall.
As someone who has lifted weights and trained hard from high school right up until now, I have endured many hardships and met some amazing people along the way.
What stands out the most from those hardships are the people I have met during my time in the gym who have or were thinking of giving up due to misinterpretations of how it all works.
I learnt a lot along the way and I wanted to share my knowledge with people like you. When it comes to health, fitness, weight lifting, exercising and nutrition, there are undoubtedly more scientific explanations and theories that we as the “common folk” will never understand.
In my opinion, it is not our place to understand it at that level. If it were, we would of taken up studies in such fields and honed our skills down a different path.
Understanding the microscopic effects that exercising has on the muscles at a molecular level is not what you need to know. There is a much easier way and I am going to show you.
Why Live For Gym?
I realize that the title itself leans towards to idea that I wake up in the morning and focus on one thing only. Living for the gym! There was a point when I was going to change it, but then I thought hard about it.
It’s not about forgetting everything and only focusing on gym. For me it is about the lifestyle. I love training and pushing myself hard through each session, not to mention the endorphin rush that follows. Thinking about my next session and the fuel I need to give myself to get through it is what motivates me.
This site is dedicated to helping those that want to achieve their desired goals and dreams. I take out the fluff and show you how to diet correctly, train effectively, stay focused and build relationships with like minded individuals.
As of writing this post, I have 80 articles (including workout routines and exercises) published and counting.
